Another killer show to kick off the new year, this time featuring some of Sioux Falls' finest locals coming together to play a bunch of bangers. This show was at Total Drag (duh) my favorite lil venue ever, and it felt so good to be pressed in close enjoying these killer sets with so many other pals who are all an integral part of our local scene.
Russ Stedman started the night off with his experimental, indie rock sound.
Then Low Riding Moths played us some enchanting, weird, and magical songs.
And Androgynous Squash came in loud, fast and intense with a bunch of incredibly rad and catchy new songs that I can't wait to hear again.
Our local scene in 2017, raw, loud, and kinda weird.
Keep Sioux Falls Rad.
The last show of 2016 was loud, fast and sweaty; my favorite kind of show, and an especially satisfying end to this year. I was not expecting a sold-out show at all but that's what I walked into 5 minutes before the start of the show and it was honestly pretty rad to see so many people there after a lack of shows during the holiday season.
And with that 2016 is down the drain. Looking forward to lots more rad shows like this in 2017!
